Have you captured the beauty of the rock pool creature that you observed?
Yes. I captured the beauty with little bumps on the crab shell and I put little joints on the legs as well as some spikes and little eyes on his forehead.
How difficult was it to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your Batik?
Very tricky. It was drippy because the wax was hot and slimy and if it's hot and slimy it gets all runny and the wax drips out of the tjanting.
